Grike (2018)
It is a bioarchitecture project carried out together with Diego Estrada and Fernanda Jullian in the context of the Burren College of Arts residence, in Ballyvaughan Ireland. The project consisted of developing a sculptural piece in polycaprolactone, which would serve as a support for the growth of plants in the local ecosystem. El Burren is a natural reserve characterized by being a mountainous area of sedimentary stone, which was exposed to the surface due to erosion caused by the felling of trees. The sculpture, given its material qualities, was intended to be biodegradable on site. The shape of the piece is adjusted directly on the surface of the rocks of the local environment.
